This is our most popular solution as it utilises Cisco/Linksys VoIP devices which are readily available in the UK at under £30. Once our custom AlarmCloud firmware is downloaded into a device it can be used as a universal IP Dialer Capture Module for any security alarm panel, fire or medical monitoring device that supports the Contact ID or BSIA Fast Format alarm protocols.

Not only is the up-front equipment cost low, but the feature list is high. The connection of Cisco/Linksys devices into AlarmCloud allows you to receive alarm signals directly into your alarm monitoring software, switch to 2-way voice for audio verification, remotely program any alarm panel over the Internet and trigger the recording of images for video verification.

All of this is accomplished by using hardware manufactured by Cisco that has been proven to be robust since 2004 with millions of devices in the field.

Things we need you to do to get started testing AlarmCloud

1. Purchase a Cisco/Linksys device from the supplier of your choice.

2. Provide us with the MAC address of a Linksys device and pay a provisioning fee via our web site.

3. Provide us with whatever public IP addresses, dynamic domain names and port numbers required for us to setup our network for receiving signals and forwarding them into your monitoring software.

Install our AlarmCloudClient onto any Windows PC in your ARC and connect it via serial or TCP to your monitoring software. The AlarmCloudClient emulates a Surgard or Ademco receiver.
